Data Deletion Policy

Your privacy is paramount. You have complete control over your digital footprint on Roominac.

Compliance Notice

In strict compliance with Apple App Store (App Store Review Guidelines 5.1.1) and Google Play Store policies, Roominac provides all users an easy, accessible way to completely and permanently delete their accounts and associated personal data.

1. How to Delete Your Account (Mobile App)

The fastest way to permanently erase your data is directly through our verified iOS or Android mobile application:

  1. Open the Roominac App and log into your account.
  2. On the bottom navigation bar, tap on Dashboard.
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on the Settings tab.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and tap the Delete Account button.
  5. Confirm your decision using Biometric Authentication (FaceID/TouchID) or your account password.

2. Request Data Deletion (Web)

If you no longer have access to the mobile app, you can manually request data deletion by submitting the form below.

Please fill out the form below from the email address associated with your Roominac account.

3. What Data Gets Deleted?

Upon a successful deletion request, Roominac will permanently erase:

  • Your public profile (Name, Bio, Reviews written by you).
  • All uploaded media (Profile pictures, Video Reels, Property Photos).
  • KYC Data: NADRA CNIC scans, passport copies, and live facial biometric selfies are immediately purged from our active databases.
  • Payment Information: Rapidgateway.pk is instructed to drop your vaulted payment tokens.

4. Data Retention Exceptions

Please note that we are legally required under Pakistani law to retain certain financial and transactional records for a period of up to 5 years. This includes:

  • Records of financial transactions (payouts to hosts, platform commission receipts) for tax auditing by the FBR.
  • Records related to ongoing legal disputes or reports of severe property damage/criminal activity.

This retained data is isolated, encrypted, and strictly inaccessible for marketing or platform usage.
